My work has emerged out of photography’s expanded field and incorporates installation, photography, video, and immersive realities. I use sound & animation to invite the viewer to understand the photographic image in a contemporary setting such as virtual reality.
The Forest of Query is my first virtual reality experience and features a ride through a dark winter forest underlaid by the beautiful composition of composer Hutch Demouilpied and the poetic storyline of writer Veronica B.

‘Pandemia to Pandemia’ is a surreal journey that reflects on the trauma of modern transitory life and how travel has changed during Covid 19. Actual travellers were photographed and interviewed at different moments during the Covid epidemic and in short audio statements reflect about their feelings during travel.

This project was made possible thanks to a GRAIN_Projects bursary, part of the national programme ‘Covid -19 Responses’, supported by @aceagrams #acesupported #nationallotteryplayers
Ghost Weight Experience was my first virtual reality project that started my fascination with the media. The work is ongoing and in production with artist & virtual reality developer Alejandro Escobar, composer Isa Suarez and performative writer Veronica B., and generously supported by Arts Council England Lottery funding.
Visitors will be taken on a playful virtual journey & can interact with & touch vintage photographic portraits of the long dead that become alive again through animation & audio. The piece is a poetic reflection on concepts of portrait photography in relation to memory & death & the passing of time.
Due to Covid the exhibition ‘Ghost Weight Experience‘ at Coleman Project Space was postponed and is now planned for May 2021, depending on Covid guidelines.
